You don’t have to spend $80 plus bucks to get a headlamp. The Nitecore UT27 is $60 and includes more tech and more light. This is a great headlamp that will blow the big boys away.

One thing I don’t like about the Nitelite is that It doesn’t stay on the last color you were using; ie: red.

Wow , i have a bunch of headlamps and I’ve only heard of the Nightcore in that collection… I also consider nightcore one of the expensive companies… There’s much better for much less… It’s interesting that thats what you considered a cheap light…
I only pack equipment that has standardized on 18650 batteries.
