I do this every time im camping. Even if i have soap, make even the toughest burnt on food come out..
Same works with titanium. Lone wolf 902 just burns the hell out of his pots.
Back country cuisine taught me – If you don’t let it dry out, moss and leaves work great as a disposable sponge. If something is stuck on there you can put it on the fire with a smidge of water to boil scraps off. Or preheat and then deglaze. Heat sterilizes nicely.
